Singing can open pathways to vibrant personal insights, physical unity and a wakening of breath and imagination you wouldn't believe.

Alongside opening your ability to communicate, optimise posture and understand breath and connection with the body, working with your voice can waken your imagination and awareness of your place in the present moment. There are literally thousands of inspiring songs and arias to study. If approached well, the art of singing walks hand in hand with a healthy, happy mind.
Try it. It might just change your life - It did mine!

I look forward to seeing and hearing you!

- plus everything else it encompasses!'

Jeanette Hamilton, Singing Student

I have always loved singing, and the sensation of voice. My family are musical and I grew up with the sound of the piano, the flute, the fiddle and of voices, singing in harmony. At school, I joined the choir and loved both singing in groups and the chance to sing alone, supported by the voices around me. When I was eighteen I was asked to sing in a benefit concert, which lead me to taking up singing in earnest and finding and my path in life: being a professional coloratura soprano. I was overjoyed to receive a Distinction for my Masters Degree in performance at University of East Anglia and to be offered the next stepping stone: Two years of Post-Graduate Study at the Royal Conservatoire of Music, in Glasgow. Since then, I have taken music across the UK and Europe and sung to thousands. Why do I do it? Because I feel that music is a bridge between us all. It has the possibility to inspire, to console, to enliven and to express our deepest emotions and feelings. Teaching others to sing is of huge importance to me, as what could be better than sharing that gorgeous gift of possibility? I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your own fascinating voyage of vocal discovery.
